Finances Tripled!
Our Father God is and awesome God and he reigns first and foremost in our lives, our family and our finances. We are tithers and seed sowers in the name of Jesus. I want to lay a foundation concerning our testimony. My husband and I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 beautiful children. We have always struggled with our finances because we worked jobs that did not pay a lot per hour and we didn't have a college education. We both decided to go back to school and get an education. While in the process it seemed the devil tried even harder to beat us down. We lived off of approximately $300 a week but we kept tithing and seed sowing and we were never late on a payment and never missed a payment. We didn't always have what we wanted but my children did not do without, God always made a way for us. GOD is GOOD!!!
In the year 2003 when we got our taxes back my husband needed a new pair of boots for church. We took some of our tax money and bought him a pair. Alligator, too much money, but God knew what he was doing. My husband wore those boots with pride. Everyone loved his boots, including Jason. When Jason came to preach he noticed my husband's new boots...boy was Patrick proud of those boots. Jason made a comment about them to my husband and went on his way. My husband came to me that night after church and told me he thought he needed to give those prized boots to Jason. Of course I freaked out, we paid a lot of money for those boots that we really didn't have to spend. I came into agreement with my husband and he approached Jason with the boots. He asked Jason if he would like to have them and Jason looked at him like he was crazy! He said "No man, I can't take your boots". My husband said, "I have to do what God has told me to do. If they fit you, that is conformation, and these boots are yours". Guess what! They fit. My husband went home barefoot, but you know my GOD is a GOOD GOD. Since 2003 when this took place God has tripled our finances above and beyond what I could have ever dreamed. Jason told us since he has gotten the boots that they are a conversation piece that allows the door to be opened to witness to others about Christ. All I can say is THANK YOU LORD.
